Game Fish Tournament is the premier offshore fishing competition in Central America. Every May, more than 30 international vessels gather off San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, for two intense days of sportfishing under official IGFA rules.
The tournament combines three categories — Billfish (release-only), Roosterfish (release-only) and Funfish (weight) — rewarding both responsible release and conservation. Each edition allocates a portion of its proceeds to local marine education programs and the artisanal fishing fleet of the community.
